Edmund Aladar Schramko was born in Czechoslovakia on January 29, 1906 and joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. He served with the Medical Detachment of the First Battalion Headquarters of the 86th Infantry Regiment. During his military service he attained the rank of Captain.
